Brac Informatics Centre, BIC, is an international service provider of technology solutions for its clients throughout the Caribbean, North and South America. BIC has built a world-class facility in the Caribbean and assembled the staff, technology infrastructure and exclusive partnerships required to create and deliver Information Availability Solutions.

BIC is focused on delivering Information Availability Solutions for small to mid-size enterprises. We select, develop and integrate proven technologies to provide secure, highly available services for the management of critical information. Our services provide our customers with secure data storage, network access and data availability.

The BIC staff includes talent and expertise from the Cayman Islands as well as the United States and the United Kingdom representing years of experience with Fortune 50 companies such as Hewlett Packard/Compaq, IBM, Qwest and Intel. The team represents a knowledge base in the areas of specialization required to develop and support information availability solutions. This includes BCI certified business continuity, computer network and security, systems and database, and customer support specialists as well as a software development team.

The team develops and supports services that give BIC clients control over their information. These include Business Continuity Services which are productized as the OffsiteVAULT© suite of products, as well as hosted services that allow BIC clients the ability to support their customers’ demands for 24/7 secure access to information. These Self-Service Solutions include BIC’s proprietary CompanyCONNECT, VaultCONNECT, DocumentCONNECT, InformaticsCONNECTand MobileCONNECT.

BIC also offers commercial grade hosting, co-location and managed services from their hardened facility which is fully licensed and regulated by the Cayman Islands Government ICTA (Information and Communications Technology Authority) as both a Disaster Recovery Centre and Data Centre.
