OffsiteRECOVERY© has many restore options. Online restores of system state, active directory, and data files that were backed up using OffsiteRECOVERY© are always immediately available. BIC can restore your data to the original production servers or recovery servers that have been authenticated to receive the data.

Recovering from occasional data availability failures is effortless and immediate. Often, data corruption is due to viruses, malfunctions during upgrades or human error. OffsiteRECOVERY© provides a continual layer of protection. It enables IT professionals to capture changes to applications and database files and automatically reconstitute the data in reverse order to a point before it was corrupted or lost without having to deal with backup tapes.

This ‘comprehensive rewind’ service is delivered online upon customer request. It is designed to support:

  • Microsoft Exchange Servers

In addition to online restores, BIC offers the option of Media restores. Depending on the volume and nature of the restore, data can be transferred to CD, DVD, tape or mobile USB drives and couriered in secure media transport boxes.

    

Activate your backup servers and keep your business running in spite of problems with your production servers

Should your production servers fail for any reason, geographically remote recovery servers in the BIC Data Centre will be able to take their place utilizing your backup data from BIC’s OffsiteRECOVERY© service. Upon customer request, your dedicated recovery servers in the BIC Data Centre will become your primary production servers connected to your primary customer site through pre-provisioned and tested network connections.

For mission critical instances of Exchange, BIC also provides an Exchange high availability module add-on to OffsiteRECOVERY© with the capability for push-button or automatic fail over of clients from the production server at your site to a recovery server at the BIC Disaster Recovery Centre. It eliminates the need to reconfigure clients. It provides the ability to automatically monitor the status of the production server and the applications running on it.
