Brac Informatics’ OffsiteVAULT© service automatically backs up data files, programs, databases, and email from servers, desktops and laptops. The automated, unattended backups provide organisations with their secondary storage. The optional OnsiteVAULT automatically stores a copy locally as the primary backup. This frees up IT staff to work on other projects, it saves the costs associated with tape-based backup and increases confidence that your data is properly protected.
All data is encrypted before it is sent electronically to off-site mass storage vaults at the BIC hardened disaster recovery centre. The transfer occurs transparently in the background so that users can continue working while the backup occurs.
With up to 10 years of archive data online in your OffsiteVAULT, files can be recovered at anytime, with the click of a mouse.
BIC can further secure your data by providing Managed Secure Tape Storage. In addition to your data being stored online at the BIC Disaster Recovery Centre, available for immediate restores as needed, an archive copy can be made for regulatory and compliance requirements. This service enables you to have your critical data securely backed up at regular intervals to our tape libraries, and catalogued in our purpose designed media vault.
